He lived at home until his mother’s illness necessitated a move to a group home—a community akin to Sertoma—that enriched his social life and brought him joy. Jimmy’s life and John’s care for him continue to inspire his commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities.

John’s son, Rob MacLellan, carries forward the family legacy at Broadway Carpets West as co-owner and manager.
